Avoid Every Angler's Worst Nightmare |
|
|
This pretty picture spares you from an ugly scene. The worst imaginable scene, really, for any angler: You're wade fishing a pristine stream when suddenly you realize you've stepped between a cub and its agitated mama. Or, another scenario: You're towing the boat to a little lake in the middle of nowhere when a tire blows ... and as you're changing it on the side of the road, a truck comes along with two guys who definitely aren't looking for a fishing report.
Just 'cause we don't like to think about it doesn't change the reality: Fishing exposes you to dangerous situations. Truthfully, every angler ought to consider if he should own a handgun for personal safety. Here are a few you could look at:
1.) Ruger Super Redhawk Alaskan: This short-barreled, big-bore revolver is a great defense against large animals such as bears and cougars.
2.) Standard Redhawk: Ruger keeps producing this classic, double-action magnum revolver because people keep asking for 'em.
3.) LCR: This newly created Ruger features the latest and greatest innovations.
4.) LCP Semi-Auto: Weighs all of 10 ounces, which makes sense (LCP stands for lightweight, compact pistol).
5.) SR9c: Has one of the slimmest grips you'll ever see on a pistol, as well as a sweet hi-vis 3-dot sight system.
Find out if you know as much about guns as you think. |
