World's First Codeable Lock That Opens With Car Keys |
|
|
Everybody knew a custodian named Butch or Ernie with a flat top and a huge ring of keys that jangled as he walked down the hall of their elementary school. Remember thinking "That guy can get into any room in the building?"
Keys represented privileged access and exciting events like your first car or house. There was no keyless entry so they physically did all the heavy lifting of getting you in and out of secure cars, sheds, trailers, storage areas or pretty much anything with a padlock.
Businesses now have key cards for entry and buttons let you in and out of your automobile. It's cooler to not have a string of keys hogging pocket space and getting lost in kitchen junk drawers.
That's what makes Strattec's new custom codeable padlock so interesting. It can be easily programmed to your personal car key getting you into your trailer, shed or storage space with just one car key.
Visit Strattec's website to find out how it works, then on to their order page for pricing information. |
