June 30, 2009 New Options in Rubber Application
Despite a rough economy, Steele Rubber is bucking the trend and expanding their product line with brand new '55-'59 Chevy body mount kits, back window gaskets for '54 Chrysler's and Dodge's and taillight gaskets for El Camino's and wagons — just to name a few.
A dozen or so new products round out the large assortment of moldings, rubber parts and weather stripping that look OEM but are updated to last longer and seal better. Their "Car of the Week" archive is searchable by year (1927-1980) and make, cross referencing parts like motor and transmission mounts, brake pedal and clutch pedals, fender skirts and cowl covers. You can find a lot of good engine and body parts to refurbish at a bone yard but going with fresh rubber pieces always saves you time and money in the long run. Find out what fits your car in the Steele Rubber Car of the Week archive.
