Picking The Best Service Manual
Oh the things we've squandered money on! Bullet hole stickers, Yosemite Sam mud flaps, neon lights and chrome trucker girl anything... Well for around $30, a Chilton's service manual could be the best accessory you've ever bought.

It'll give you the courage to tackle projects way over your head and educate you enough to talk to a mechanic who'll finish them. It gets greasy but never wears out, holds its price in resale when you sell your ride and is an entire book dedicated to your favorite topic: the four wheel power broker in your garage.

These manuals are cheaper than OEM and written from a layman's perspective covering total disassembly of your car, then putting everything back together. The pictures are actual photos of what you're looking at when you're elbow deep in wiring harness, not just diagrams.

Order a service manual from The Motor Book Store now and be done in 10 minutes, leaving you plenty of time to track down fuzzy dice and windshield banners.
