April 23, 2009 Suck It Up with Shop Towels
Who hasn't had an oil spill and torn off two dozen paper towels in a desperate attempt to contain the slick? Everybody's wiped their nose on their sleeve when they've bellied up to the torque converter and the creeper's stuck on your hazard light cable. Of course the right tool for the job would be red shop towels from ERC Wiping Products, but you don't think about buying rags until you need one.
Ordering a box now while you're online means you'll have some the next time you need them and you won't have to re-order for another year because ERC sells them cheap and in mass quantities. How cheap? About 16 cents apiece cheap when you order a 50lb box. At that price you could probably duct tape yourself up a set of disposable coveralls with them. We can personally confirm that the standard 16x16 red shop towel absorbs oil better than paper towels, removes and retains mucus better than shirt sleeves, seals wounds better than electrical tape, plugs carbs better than newspaper, cleans wrenches better than your armpit, and cleans your hands better than your pants leg. Visit ERC now for some wholesale shop rags and other absorbers.
