April 7, 2009 Billet Aluminum Chevy Small Blocks
Billet aluminum detailing may not look as vogue as it was tens years ago but having an engine block chiseled from a solid slab of 6061, T61 heat treated alloy from Dart Performance will leave anyone blinded with jealousy.
What does all this mean? One look at their Chevy aluminum billet small block will be worth a thousand words including, but not limited to: "extreme stress loads", "power to weight ratio" and "heat treated." You may also find, "wicked" and "bitchin" presenting themselves for approval. Of course the best way to top off an aluminum block is with aluminum heads, intake manifolds and maybe timing chain or valve covers. Ford guys can't be left out in the cold so Dart offers block and head combinations for them as well. Don't take our word for it, check out the dozens of racers and performance builders that use Dart's products. For a look at the full line of Dart products get a free catalog from their website.
