Family Members Shoot Aces
...On a Par 5...All at Once!!

About that headline: It's April 1st, so this is a reminder to roll with the tradition.

Question: Speaking of tradition, many families do an annual golf getaway. But, truth be told, not all are totally into this all-in-the-family golf. So, what should you do to make everyone happy?

Answer: Visit golf resorts and golf-oriented destinations that focus on entertaining the entire family.

Examples: Here are three:

• Callaway Gardens Resort (see photo), in Pine Mountain, Georgia, is home to a butterfly conservatory and miles of bicycle trails through colorful gardens and forests.
• Hershey Resorts, in Hershey, Pennsylvania, is a complex with 36 holes of golf, a nine-hole junior course and easy access to Hersheypark, with 60 rides and attractions and the ZooAmerica North America Wildlife Park.
• Sunriver Resort in Bend, Oregon, has 63 holes of golf and activities such as canoeing, indoor rock climbing and pony and wagon rides.

Destinations with a slew of family-friendly activities and lengthy menus of championship golf include:

• Myrtle Beach, South Carolina
• Northern Michigan
• Orlando, Florida
• Pinehurst, North Carolina
• San Antonio, Texas.
