Precision Putter:
Square Angles, Bold Lines
Product: Envision TR putter
Price: $199
Insert options: Black, red and green. The black insert, according to STX, is the softest, followed by red (medium feel) and green (harder feel).

Overview: STX, best known for its Soft Face Insert Technology, is extending its Bob Engman Signature Series with a spring introduction of the Envision TR putter.

Key Features:
  • Square angles and bold lines to ensure a proper address. STX says the square-shaped head distributes weight farther out toward the heel and toe for a higher moment of inertia.
  • The geometric shapes, according to the company, make it easy for you to see when the putter is not properly aligned throughout your stroke.
  • STX says a proprietary double-bend shaft on the Envision TR moves the hands forward for proper alignment.
BTW, who is Bob Engman? He's the STX Chief Club Designer. A world-renowned sculptor with works in the Hirshhorn Museum, the Whitney Museum and the Museum of Modern Art, Engman is also a three-time senior champion at Merion Golf Club in Philadelphia.
