June 23, 2009 If Mona Lisa Had A Shotgun At The Last Supper...
What do Mona Lisa, The Last Supper and a shotgun have in common? All three are revolutionary in their respective fields, assuming the shotgun is a Benelli Vinci.
There's a reason Benelli named its newest shotgun after Leonardo da Vinci, and it's not because they think hunters love exquisite artwork from the Renaissance (or any era, for that matter). It's because da Vinci shattered the technological boundaries of his world. That's exactly what Benelli's going for with its new 12 gauge shotgun. You see, the Vinci was created with an innovative In-Line Inertia Driven operating system so it's perfectly balanced, ultra-light and lightning-quick. Benelli also adapted the gun's ergonomics and put in a new recoil-reduction system. The result? Well, in recent tests the Vinci had 72 percent less recoil than other shotguns. OK, so it's not quite as revolutionary as da Vinci sketching helicopters centuries before they existed, but to us hunters ... it's a work of art.
