Plant the Rose That Beats All Roses |
|
|
With hundreds of roses out there, how's a gardener to know which ones are a flash in the pan and which ones stand the test of time?
Now it's official: There's a rose that stands out among roses. Its name is 'Graham Thomas', and it was recently voted World's Favorite Rose by the members of the World Federation of Rose Societies.
Introduced in 1983 by English rose hybridizer David Austin, 'Graham Thomas' is only the 14th rose in 33 years to win this title. With its cup-shaped yellow blooms and upright habit, it's perfect for grouping in threes and pruning into one large shrub. It also makes a spectacular climbing rose.
So, what are you waiting for? Plant 'Graham Thomas' and enjoy this classic, time-tested beauty in your own yard. |
