July 23, 2009 A Cool New Sprayer with No Awkward Angles
When it comes to dealing with pests on our plants, our least favorite tip is "Spray the undersides of leaves."
Not that we mind hanging by our heels to drench insects hiding where the sun doesn't shine. But the constant flipping, twisting, and contorting to squeeze off a few upward shots, then dry-pumping the pistol grip until the liquid starts flowing again, drives us nuts. A clever new tool called the Upside-Down Sprayer solves all that. A weight at the end of the flexible tube keeps the tube immersed in liquid no matter which way you turn the bottle—so whether you're a trapeze artist or not, you can spray your plants with the greatest of ease. Grab the Lee Valley Tools Upside-Down Sprayer and reduce gravity to the pesky nuisance it should be.
