A Tale of Two Tiny Eggplants
The story of 'Hansel' and 'Gretel' can be summed up in a few words. Two miniature eggplants, two years, two awards. That's how popular this fairytale couple is.

The fruit of 'Hansel' is rich purple. 'Gretel' fruits are glossy white. Both plants produce tiny fruits that are about 3 inches long at maturity, and both are All-America Selections winners—'Hansel' in 2008 and 'Gretel' in 2009.

Because these eggplants are more petite than traditional varieties, they're ready to harvest earlier, and you don't have to figure out how to use a 5-pound eggplant all at once. If you leave the fruit on the plant, it will get bigger but doesn't grow bitter.

Order 'Hansel' and 'Gretel' seeds from Tomato Growers Supply Co.

Members can register to win Royal Purple 2-cycle engine oil and other great products.
