A Better Board |
|
|
Leftovers may be one man's trash, but to you, they're treasures. You love seeing what you can pull together from odd scraps of this and that.
So you can appreciate the folks at Artchitec Housewares, who've been working hard to develop products using discarded materials.
Their latest creation: the Poly-Flax Cutting Board from the EcoSmart line. It's made from recycled plastics blended with flax husk, a by-product of flax seed production that's usually thrown away. One cutting board alone can save 60-plus plastic containers from landfills!
For Architec, it's not enough that the product's made from recycled materials. The company also launched a take-back program that'll recycle the board when you're done with it. Just call the toll-free number, and you'll be sent a pre-paid shipping label.
Using another board would be a waste.
The Poly-Flax Cutting Board is available at www.amazon.com. |
