Create a New Look for the Season
safari style
Fall is here, and if you've ever felt the need to change up your décor a bit with the new season, you're not alone.

Giving a room a breath of fresh air doesn't require a lot of time or money with this creative take on a safari style. Follow these easy steps to an exotic new look:

Cones
STEP 1: Make bases. Follow manufacturer's directions to mix spackling and charcoal paint until you are satisfied with color. Use putty knife to spread a smooth, even coat of spackling over all sides of cube. Let dry and sand smoothly. Repeat.

STEP 2: Cover cones. Position cone along edge of fabric and roll to cover. Pin fabric to fit around cone. Glue down edges. Trim fabric so bottom is flat. Trim top to form a neat point. Glue down edges.
